- To celebrate the beauty of Swiss forests, Caran d'Ache has created a special version of the SWISS WOOD pencil in a brand new gift set. This set consists of 3 pencils made of Grächen pine (VS), Scots pine and Glovelier beech (JU), an eraser and a sharpener.
- The Swiss Wood pencil is made of beech wood that grows exclusively in the forests of the Swiss Jura. It symbolizes Switzerland and the respect for the environment so dear to the heart of Caran d'Ache.
- The Swiss Wood pencil has its roots in the small village of Glovelier. The area is known for its high-quality beech wood. The forest from which the wood is derived complies with the principles of sustainable development and is FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) certified.
- This is where the Caran d'Ache brand found the raw material for the new graphite pencil.
- The Swiss Wood pencil is produced in a manufactory in Geneva. It is distinguished by simplicity and elegance. Natural wood is covered with water varnish. The red tip of the pencil with a white cross is a reflection of the Swiss ideals contained in the Swiss Made quality seal.
- This limited series was produced in Switzerland at the Caran d'Ache workshops in Geneva.
