- Momoko Sakura is the creative genius behind the hugely popular Chibi Maruko-Chan manga. Based on Momoko's childhood, this uplifting and often moving series depicts the experiences of Maruko, a third grade student, her friends and family. To date, more than 32.5 million manga have been published, including a digital version, and the animation has been shown around the world.
